2024 WYBC BASEBALL FALL

The 2024 WYBC Fall Baseball Season is upon us, Registration is “LIVE” and will be open until August 5th 2024 MIDNIGHT

This very important as we need to have our numbers final in preparation for evaluations.

We will be accepting registrations for any player ages 5-18. Please note that the player’s playing age is determined by the player’s age prior to May 1^st,2024.

We will have the players divided into the following age/grade brackets;

Grades 9^TH-12^TH Fall Shiloh Legion (1 or 2 teams depending on players registered)

13 and Under

*If you are going into 7^th grade but still qualify for 11U please register for 13U.

11 and Under

9 and Under

7 and Under

Evaluation Information below:

Please review the following information: Evaluations will be on August 12, 13 and 14.

The Evaluations’ will take place at Trimmer Elementary “Field 1” for 11U, Broad Street Lower Field for 7U & 9U and Broad Street Upper Field for the 13U age group.

The Evaluations will allow us to construct the teams and determine which divisions within their age bracket would be the best fit.

Age participation for EVALUATIONS will be for everyone ages 7 thru 13. (Select 6 year old’s may be asked to evaluate based on previous experience)

There will be no evaluations for grades 9th through 12th for the 2024-2025 school year.

IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO ATTEND EVALUATIONS WE WILL USE YOUR END-YEAR EVALS COMPLETED BY YOUR SPRING 2024 COACHES.

The Evaluation time slots are as follows:

Monday August 12th (Broad St Lower)

7U & 9U 5:30pm-8:00pm

Tuesday August 13th (Trimmer Elementary)

11U 5:30pm-8:00pm

Wednesday August 14th (Broad St Upper)

13U 5:30pm-8:00pm

In the event of Inclement Weather, the evaluations will be moved indoors.

***Your child’s exact time slot will be determined after sign-ups are complete. I will email out a schedule prior to evaluations.

OUTDOOR: Players are asked to dress in standard baseball apparel; spikes, baseball pants, etc... Please make sure that they bring any necessary equipment just as they would for practice. We will be evaluating the players in the following areas: hitting, fielding, throwing, speed/agility and pitching if they desire. If your child will be trying out as a catcher, please make sure they are properly equipped.

It is our goal that on Friday August 16th, 2024, everyone will be notified as to which team they will be on for the Fall 2024 season.

****With registration, WYBC Baseball will provide each player with a hat and jersey for ALL ages. Also regardless of team each player will be asked to wear navy baseball socks, navy baseball belt and grey baseball pants.

2024 Fall Baseball Key Dates

Fall Practice Starts: August 19th/20th 2024 (Each Teams Practice Schedule will Vary)

Fall Games Schedule Starts: Weekend of September 7th/8th 2024

(Each Teams Game Schedule will Vary)

****Games Schedules typically finalized mid-late August

ALL GAMES PLAYED ON SATURDAYS OR SUNDAYS

Fall Season Ends: October 27th, 2024

Winter Workouts Start Beginning of January 2025 and will run until Spring 2025 Evaluations
